Our Institution is situated at the Candeias beach, at the south of the State of Pernambuco, northeast of Brazil, South America, in the municipal district of Jaboatão dos Guararapes, in the metropolitan area of the Recife City, just at 15 minutes from Boa Viagem beach and, at 30 minutes from the Recife center. It is situated at Bernardo Vieira de Melo, Avenue, at the seaside. Enjoying of more beautiful dawn and of the more lovely nights of full moon, which is reflected with extreme beauty in silver colors on salt water of the Atlantic Ocean.

The water, which is silvered by moon, kisses the wall of its construction. Letting on the environment the sound of the fluctuation of the waves, mixed with the sonority which bland breeze lets on the straws of coconut trees.
The beach is very beautiful and of there can sight itself the Headland of Santo Agostinho, which is the geographic landmark of the Brazilian seacoast, and too the island of the loves.
At five minutes from our institution, we arrive to the most important point of the History of Brazil, the Mount of Guararapes, where on April 19th, 1648, the Portugueses-Brazilians (from Pernambuco) expelled the Dutchmen of the Brazilian lands. Conquering, in this moment, the freedom of our State, which was under Dutch domain.
The Mount of Guararapes is the cradle of the Brazilian patriotism.
The transportation more utilized to arrive to our institution is the bus. The neighborhood is inhabited by people of the class "A" and "B", but there is in the adjacencies, at ten minutes, an immense slum, with extravagant and interesting name "Sovaco da Cobra", something like "Armpit of the Snake", and at fifteen minutes there is an other slum of significant proportions and curious name, "Entra a Pulso e Sai no Tapa" something like "Go in to the Power and Exit in the Slap". The neighborhood is served with every infrastructure. It has schools, nurseries, bakeries, drugstores, boutiques, medical clinics, blocks of sports and at 15 minutes of the second largest shopping center of the State, the Guararapes Shopping.
The Bernardo Vieira Avenue is asphalted and it maintains an enough active traffic.

We can say that the Spiritist Home Chico Xavier is imbedded on privileged public area and until the moment it is the only Spiritist House of Brazil at seaside, which kisses and is kissed by warm water of the Atlantic Ocean and, receives of it by sounds the constant murmur of the waves that with white foams like the flower of magnolia, and that itself scattering like laces on beach of white sands accompanied of bland and refreshing breeze, which is brought by generous northeast wind. The Wind uninterruptedly blows, involving their visitors and workers, as if it was the amorous and invigorating hug of the Creator of all, our Merciful Father.
