Prudence
Remembering of Jesus

My beloved children in God, who Jesus blesses us. The study of Posthumous Works is shown more and more fecund, is making us to go into the thought and in the intellectual intimacy of Mr. Kardec.

The adoption of the plans of a central commission has aimed at, as well we can observe, to the protection of the spiritist centers and of itself doctrine. In countries as Brazil, the house mater of the Spiritism is represented by the Brazilian Spiritist Federation, that follows those orientations of the codifier and, though, it is censured by the discipline that presents, once it does not deviate of those guidelines, in spite of the numberless appeals, insults and slanders that to it is driven.

It is easy to theorize concerning the Spiritist Doctrine. It is easy to use the word to move thoughts in direction at drafted objectives. But, as it is difficult to fulfill the idealized goals precisely.

We see with a lot of prudence and some apprehension the new enterprises that appear seeking to the popularization of the Spiritism. We understood the need of that popularization in modernity terms, but we observed that nor everything adapts itself or behoove to the Spiritist Doctrine.

We know that by information of the proper Mr. Kardec, the Spiritism won't get to be an universal doctrine embraced by all. Universal will be its principles, because there will be Catholic-spiritists, Buddhist-spiritists, and others that will become sympathetic and even followers of some parts of the philosophy or of the science and spiritist religion, but they will stay faithful to their churches. That ambition, so to speak, of conquering proselytes seems to we dangerous, in relation to the manner of the used means to reach such objective.

The kardecist conception of small spiritist centers, where all know each other, where the problems can be distributed, it constitutes, without a doubt, a safe model of expansion of the spiritist ideas. If we conserve ourselves faithful the that recommendation, we will can observe that it is unnecessary the influenced popularization, in the molds used by other religious ideologies.

While tempting routes appear in the horizon, accompanied of gigantic attempts, adorned of words well placed, of arguments well based, everything lead to believe that such ideas seem good, healthy, but we, the Spirits, observed with prudence and reserve the materialization of the same ones.

The largest benefit that it can itself to do at the Spiritist Doctrine is, without a doubt, its popularization. We commune with that thought. But, to divulge it in its purity, in its beauty and preserving itself the necessary coherence with the work of the Codification. The attempt of to adapt it to the modernities of the moment can be subjected by the risks of the vulgarization.

The Spirits earnestly entreat that a light ignites itself in the Spiritist Movement, showing the best path, in that context of popularization and propagation of the Spiritism, to those who want to concern themselves of that occupation.

Our beloved children will can to judge us antiquated ones, conservatives and moderate, but to all this we call prudence.

What do ambition the spiritists for the Doctrine? Quantity of followers? Overcrowded House? Do people that enter in the Center, listen the doctrinal exhibition, people who appreciate the exhibitor, or do they want, to the opposite, what do the people enter in the spiritist houses and there do let themselves to involve with the truth of the high concepts of the doctrine of the immortality?

What do ambition the spiritists for the Spiritist Doctrine? Which the doctrine can be exposed in televisual images of high configuration, but which should be a facsimile of its true content? What people could stimulate themselves with physical healings, with phenomena of order mediumistic, but who they cannot have real access to the philosophy and spiritist morals?

We must meditate to what extent the image can substitute the written word that consolidate the knowledge on the human spirit.

My beloved children, the subject would permit a more prolonged explanation. The time of this meeting, however, it does not allow it. Therefore we interrupted our communication, even though the theme suggests a more lingering analysis. We left, however, the following subject for reflection of all: What is indeed better for the Spiritist Doctrine and consequently for the spiritists in question?

May the peace of Jesus protects them today, tomorrow and always, they are our votes.
